We have made the decision to follow the advice of Edwin’s cardiologist and disperse our herd. All alpacas are for sale and no reasonable offer will be refused.

Awards

We are committed to a breeding program that is striving to reproduce alpacas with correct conformation and fine, crimpy, lustrous, dense fleece. Top quality Peruvian, Bolivian and Chilean studs are used to accomplish these goals and objectives. Our efforts have been rewarded on numerous occasions. We are very proud of all of our alpacas. Here is a sample of how our program is working for us.

DEA Cajun Queen

At only 11 months of age Cajun Queen won Supreme Champion Alpaca at the 2006 CNASF. We were so proud of her as she beat the males and the older alpacas in the show.

Cajun Queen was sold to Barb and Daniel Eslake of Rainbow Forrest Acres. Congratulations.

DEA Karaminga (Kara)

In 2000 Kara won Grand Champion full fleece Huacaya female at Lloydminster Colonial  Days and again at Canada’s largest alpaca show, “Alpacafest” in Red Deer.

Her fleece won a Reserve Champion award at Agripaca 2000 and in 2001 won First Place at Alpacafest in Red Deer.

“Kara” is a home grown daughter of Jolimont Peruvian Ringo, our Peruvian stud, who is co-owned with Country Vista Alpacas. Watch for Kara’s offspring in the show ring.

DEA Genayo

Genayo won Reserve Champion Male at the Royal Manitoba Alpaca Show in April 2003 and again in 2004. He won first in his class at the CNASF in Red Deer, Second at Agripaca 2003 in Lloydminster, and 3rd at the Alpaca Odyssey in Edmonton, AB in 2004.

At the 2006 Canadian National Alpaca Futurity Genayo won the honor of Supreme Champion Sire when an offspring of his, DEA Cajun Queen won Supreme Champion Alpaca.

DEA Eldorado

Eldorado is a son of Ringo and won First in his class and Best of Age at Agripaca 2001 in Regina.

At Agripaca 2002 held in Yorkton, SK. Eldorado added to his list of accomplishments by winning first in his class and went on to win Reserve Champion Male at the show.
