Machos

We are committed to a breeding program that is striving to reproduce alpacas
with correct conformation and fine, crimpy, lustrous, dense fleece.
Top quality alpaca studs are used to accomplish these goals and objectives.
Breeding fees for our machos range from $1,000 - $2,000.
We offer discounts for multiple breedings.

DEA Genayo

DOB: April 21, 2002

Genayo has produced some top quality cria in his first year of breeding. He is the son of Jolimont Peruvian Alpamayo and our top producing female, Eugena. He has the fleece characteristics and conformation we have been breeding for since 1997. Genayo won Reserve Champion male at the Royal Manitoba Alpaca show in April 2003 and again in 2004. He won first in his class at the CNASF in Red Deer, Second at Agripaca 2003 in Lloydminster, and 3rd at the Alpaca Odyssey in Edmonton, AB. in 2004. Genayo’s cria fibre stats in 2003 were AFD 19.7, SD3.4, CV 17.1% and .7% >30. His stats in 2007 at 5 years of age were: AFD 26.09, SD 4.27, CV 16.4% Curve 60.0 deg/mm.
Limited outside breedings are available.

DEA ELDORADO

DOB: May 10, 2000

Eldorado is a full Peruvian, ½ Accoyo son of Jolimont Peruvian Ringo and Jolimont Peruvian Erinna. He won First in his class and Best of Age at Agripaca 2001 in Regina. At Agripaca 2002 held in Yorkton, SK. Eldorado added to his list of accomplishments by winning first in his class and went on to win Reserve Champion Male at the show. His histogram in 2005 at 5 years of age is AFD 27.72, SD 5.91, CV 21.3%, curve 42.1 deg/mm. He is extremely dense with a deep bold crimp and very lustrous fleece. Eldorado has produced outstanding cria in a variety of colors. Of interest is the dusty color he has consistently produced when bred to black.

Congratulations to Tracey Riopel, Rio Grand Alpacas, on the purchase of one of these beautiful dusty females at the Canadian National Sale and Futurity.

AMBER B LEGEND

DOB: October 8, 2001

Sold

Sold to Tracey & Bob Inkster of J Creek Alpacas, Dauphin, MB

Legend began breeding in 2004 and we have been very pleased with his first cria. The majority are female and he is passing on his fleece color and characteristics. He is a well proportioned male with good bone structure and has a very dense fleece with well defined crimp. His fibre stats for 2005 are AFD 27.66, SD 5.60, CV 20.2%.
Legend’s sire Peruvian Bonanza has been a multiple Reserve, Grand, and Supreme Champion. Legend is following in his sire’s footsteps with a Grand Championship at Northlands in 2002, a Reserve Championship at Agripaca in 2003 as well as numerous other placings including fleece awards. Legend’s dam, 4Peruvian Latora, has also produced many award winning offspring.

JOLIMONT PERUVIAN RINGO

Ringo, was our full Accoyo herdsire who began our championship herd, producing a number of award winning alpacas. He was extremely dense and maintained a low micron as he aged. At ten years of age his histogram was AFD 22.9, SD 5.7, CV 24.9% and 10% >30. He passed on these fleece characteristics as well as extreme lustre and high frequency crimp to his offspring. Unfortunately Ringo passed away in the spring of 2005.
